The bridge edge of overhead crane laying on both sides of the the elevated track and running longitudinally. It can take full use of the space below the bridge to lift materials, and pass ground equipments unhindered. They are the most widely used with largest number of hoisting machinery.
1. The weight should move up, down, left, right, forward and backward, and can also move in vertical direction at the same time. Except the downward movement, the remaining five direction should be set up with terminal protection.
2. Must equipped with reliable braking device, even in case of power failure, the weight will not fall due to its own weight.
3. Overhead crane should have a greater speed range. When it moves from static condition, the speed should start from the lowest to accelerate speed, and the accelerated speed cannot be too large.
4. In order to prevent the possible risk of overload or overspeed, the short-time overload protection should be equipped. The overcurrent relay is commonly used as circuit overload.
5. Must equipped with no-voltage protection.
6. Must equipped with the safety measures.
